Statement

Documentary photography has always been my passion. Freed from the constraints of assignment work, it allows me to and follow my own instincts. To make images that are not influenced by anyone's preconceived notions, including my own.

I prefer to work in a spontaneous fashion with the objective to simplify the visual chaos we are all plagued by and to capture those elusive moments when content and form come together to produce an image of significance and clarity.

I am a scavenger of sorts, hunting for those unguarded moments that reveal something universal about what it means to be human. It thrills me to capture a meaningful split second of life as it chances to exist.
